Reza Pishghadam is professor of language education and professor by courtesy of
educational psychology. He is currently a faculty member of Ferdowsi University of
Mashhad, Iran and Editor-In-Chief of International Journal of Society, Culture &
Language (www.ijscl.net). In 2007, he was selected to become a member of National
Association of Elites of Iran. In 2010, he was classified as the Distinguished Researcher
in humanities by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran. In 2014, he
also received the Distinguished Professor award from Ferdowsi Academic Foundation,
Iran. In 2017, he was awarded as the Best Professor of Humanities by Ferdowsi
University of Mashhad. In 2013, He proposed a new notion in psychology, labeled as
emotioncy. His current research interests are: emotioncy, intelligence, and cultural
studies. He is the corresponding author for this article.
Hossein Makiabadi is an MA student in TEFL at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. His master’s thesis is on individual differences (IDs) and emotioncy.
Mohammad Mohtasham is an MA student in TEFL at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
His research interests include emotions and cultural studies.
